Give Thanks For Peas

The holiday season is all about helping others right? Well, before we take a break to stuff ourselves with turkey and pumpkin pie, we wanted to feature PSU blogger Brenna Liu. Brenna's blog, Eats Peas, is a friendly serving of fashion, photography, news, and personal opinions on everyday events. This sophomore majoring in psychology came up with the title from childhood memories growing up with Irish and Chinese parents. Whether is was in Shepherd's Pie or fried rice, peas were always on the table for dinner every night.

Brenna is currently into finding the perfect day wear. Think high waisted skinnies, crop tops, and antique jewelry. Ever since her sister tied the knot in one of his dresses, she has been a fan of Peter Som, designer and consultant for Tommy Hilfiger. Som's style is quirky and classic while finding beauty in the elegant and odd. The Spring 2010 collection is boldly feminine and available in Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and Neiman Marcus. Up next on Eats Peas will be antique pieces including a ring passed down from Brenna'a grandmother. When we asked Brenna about her Thanksgiving plans, she said she would be in Mexico far away from turkey and green bean casserole for the first time. But who knows, maybe she'll find some peas while eating Mexican food on the beach.
